Sudoku

I taught Amie and James how to play using this Jigsaw Sudoku. I changed it to 4×4 squares and they figured it out. Amie did it by herself in a little over 8 minutes. James did one by himself in 51 seconds. He’s more mathematically minded, so it didn’t surprise me how easy it was for him, but I didn’t expect him to be able to do it so quickly. Now he wants a more challenging one. He’s asking me to print off a 9×9 puzzle to work on. We’ll see how he does on that.

A Great Testimony

My friend, Melody, has been commenting here for a few months now. She gave me her blog link and I found her testimony on there. It is so powerful. It is more about the struggles she’s had since she became a Christian. I remember so much of what she went through, but when I read it all together on there, it really hit me. I met her during the beginning of our sophomore year of college and I was her roommate during the first semester of our junior year. Jeremy and I were part of the ministry team helping Aaron at the church as well. It was the start, for me, of really learning what ministry is about.

Modesty

As a Mom For Modesty and a girls youth leader, I have really scouted out a bunch of internet sites to see if I can find something that would not only be modest, but fit our small budget.Â I found this site that offers layering options for what is already out there, so you can be fashionable and modest.Â They have camisoles and tees that come up higher and go down over the hips to put under a shirt that is either too low up top or too high down at the bottom.Â Now to find something like this for little girls.
