I want something comparable to what I’ve been using to edit my pictures with special effects. Like how I will have a flower with it’s color and then the rest of the picture black and white or other things like that. I know Picasa can’t do those things. It’s just a basic editor. After a few days of playing with Aperture, I found that though they say it can do what I want, it was kind of difficult to figure out. Now I’m trying out a trial version of PS Elements. If I’m not happy with that, I may just go back to Gimp. We’ll see.

I had a similar experience once. It was very moving. Somber yet exhilarating. Everyone was in awe and prayer, full of passion for the fallen. Thanks for bringing this back to my mind.

We would! It’s something I miss being up here in Chicago-land. The nature center and forest preserves aren’t big enough and don’t have enough trails to walk on. I can’t wait until we go down to my parents’ house at the end of July.
