We’re leaving tomorrow morning to go to NC to my parents’ house, so I’ve been doing laundry, packing, and trying to find everything we’re going to need. I’m taking a small break right now, but I’ll be back at it as soon as the dryer finishes. Thankfully, the three older kids are packing their own suitcases. I have to check to make sure it is what it is supposed to be, but at least it makes a bit less work for me.
Oh, the blessings of the growing independence of older children! Before we had little Rosie, I pointed out to DH that both Halie and Catie could climb into their own car seats and buckle themselves. Then I asked, “Are we sure we want to start all over with another baby?” God answered the question for us – that very day, as a matter of fact! Have a safe trip. Merry Christmas from Texas!
