Allergic to what?

Noelle has had three more breakouts of hives since that one episode in the early morning hours of New Year’s Day. All of these have happened in these last few days. It’s getting a little worse each time. We can’t figure out what it is. It has happened everytime while in her bed. Three times at night and once at naptime. I’m re-washing all her bedding and have taken out all the toys. I have a big bottle of anti-histamine that I’ve been giving her a dose from everytime she breaks out and it works in about half an hour to help her. That first time, we thought it was just from eating the egg roll, but I’m thinking it was something else now. We’re scheduling her for testing. I hope we don’t have to run to the hospital before then. Please pray for her. This is really scary for me, not knowing what is going on with my baby.

((((Julie and Noelle))))) I’m praying you figure it out. For now, is there any possible way you can get/borrow and allergy cover for her mattress and pillow?

Is it hives? Here is a good link. http://www.askdrsears.com/html/8/T082400.asp

Yes, it’s hives and since the anti-histamine is working, we haven’t taken her to the emergancy room, but as Dr Sears says… it keeps accurring and it sometimes goes all over her body, so we think she needs to be tested to see what is causing it. She had another break out today. It wasn’t as bad, but I’d given her some medicine yesterday after a really bad time which was all over her. The one yesterday had hives above both eyes and above her mouth. The hives over her eyes made it hard for her to see. I took her with me when I went to drop off Jeremy at work, so I could keep an eye on how her breathing was, just in case. Other than the extremely itchy hives, she’s had no other symptoms that I’ve noticed.
