My children love music and singing. Amie’s penpal from New York sent her a CD this last summer and they were listening to it. It has “Trading My Sorrows” on it sung by kids. All the kids were dancing and the older kids were singing the words they knew to it. Suddenly, Noelle starts singing with it very loudly, “Yes, Lord, Yes, Lord, Yes, Yes, Lord!” I found what part she knows! She sure picks up on some of these songs easily. (She enjoys Mark Schultz’s “Broken and Beautiful” song as well)
I love that “Trading My Sorrows” song! Jenna sings it too. She knows a lot of the praise and worship choruses. It’s amazing how fast kids catch on!
