My family will be here soon. My mom, dad, sister, and nieces will be here any minute now. Jill’s husband has to work today, so he is coming up later tonight. I also have a friend coming tonight after she gets off of work in St. Louis. I’ll be so happy to have them all here. I’ve never been able to really host a family get-together before because we didn’t have the room.
Also, I’m so thankful to have such lovely weather for this holiday. Maybe somebody will take some of the kids up to the park tomorrow for a little while. I have a craft for the kids to do while waiting for Thanksgiving dinner, but it won’t take long, so a run to the park might be good for them too. (Plus, it would get them out of the house and into the fresh air and out from under the feet of the cooks.)
