Yesterday (July 7th for those who read on FB) I went to the physical therapist for the last check on how this splint is doing. He replaced the straps because the other ones were tearing apart and made sure it still fit okay. He said that the Dr will most likely have me keep a smaller splint or a brace on for a while. It won’t be 24/7 like this one, but it will still be needed. He also said he’s unsure of how quickly I’ll be able to start photography again with my regular camera. It could be a few days after this splint is off or it could be a few weeks. I’ll at least have the ability by September though, which makes me happy.
I have a week and a half and I’ll no longer have this big splint on. Yay!
